Laurie Light is a Sonoma County native and has been a professional organizer for more than 13 years. She loves helping people simplify their lives. Because each person is unique, each job is different. Laurie loves the diversity. She is a good listener and will customize each space to your unique style and needs. She has an aesthetic sense of feng shui which adds to the beauty and simplicity of each job.
Laurie's clients appreciate her friendly, easy-going and non-judgmental manner which makes everyone feel comfortable. She will help you with the process of deciding what to keep and what to purge. Rest assured she will not toss out anything without your permission!
Laurie's philosophy is to "not go against the river". For example, she had one client who believed her shoes belonged in her bedroom closet but always took them off at her house front door. The client didn't like the clutter of shoes in the foyer. Since her client's natural inclination was to take her shoes off immediately upon entering the house, she installed a shoe cubby there. The client still takes her shoes off at the front door, but now it always look neat and organized.
Kitchens, closets, garages, bedrooms and art studios are the most common organizing jobs Laurie does for her clients. Being an artist herself, she knows what is needed to keep art supplies within easy reach and what layout will give you inspiration. Having an intuitive sense of feng shui, she offers her clients options; to utilize the space most efficiently, we can proceed this way or to use feng shui principles you have another option.
Whatever your organizing needs are, Laurie's creative mind will come up with a solution that's customized for you.
